Krajinamed is a beehive manufacturer based in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. We produce beehive woodware in our own 1,000 m² facility and supply beekeeping cooperatives, associations, retailers and distributors across Europe.
Why work with us

- Consistent quality. Timber is dried before machining, hive bodies are assembled with a full machine finger joint, and frames are wired with stainless steel wire through eyelets.
- Retail ready. Every item carries our own article number, and part of the range also carries EAN barcodes, so goods enter your system without extra work.
What we manufacture
Hive bodies and woodware
Hive bodies and supers are made from kiln-dried fir, 20 mm board, assembled with a full machine finger joint. Hand grips and frame-rest rebates are machined, so dimensions stay identical from batch to batch.
- Langstroth (LR): body 504 × 412 × 242 mm, super 504 × 412 × 155 mm, solid and varroa screened floors, covers clad in aluminium sheet, inner covers, feeders, Snelgrove boards.
- Dadant-Blatt (DB): body 495 × 412 × 310 mm for 10 frames, half super, floors and covers.
- Farrar: body 504 × 412 × 174 mm with matching frames.
- AŽ hives and nucs: AŽ standard 10 frames, AŽ 10+10, nucleus boxes for 5 and 6 frames.
Frames
Frames are made from linden, Hofmann style, with 36 mm centre spacing. Available flat packed, assembled and drilled, with eyelets, wired with stainless steel wire, or with foundation already embedded.

- Dadant brood frame: top bar 470 × 27 × 20 mm, side bars 300 × 27 × 9 mm, bottom bar 438 × 10 × 8 mm
- Farrar and AŽ frames
Export programmes
For customers in Germany, the Netherlands and other EU markets we also manufacture to German and Dutch standards: Zander, DNM (Deutsch Normal), US Dadant, Zadant, Langstroth and Mini, with Hofmann or straight side bars, assembled or flat packed.
Full beekeeping range
Alongside our own woodware we carry a complete beekeeping range: wax foundation, extractors and uncapping equipment, honey packaging, protective clothing, smokers, queen rearing equipment and veterinary products. More than 150 articles from one supplier.
Trading terms
- Pricing: wholesale prices are set according to quantity and delivery schedule. Send us a list of articles with quantities and we will return a quotation.
- Minimum order quantities and lead times: agreed on enquiry, depending on the article and the size of the order.
- Export delivery: goods are shipped on pallets, with transport terms and documentation agreed in advance.
- Payment: we invoice companies and work on proforma or bank transfer.
- Own brand: for larger runs we manufacture to your dimensions and pack under your own brand.
Who we supply
Our customers are beekeeping cooperatives and associations, beekeeping equipment retailers, distributors and larger apiaries that order in batches. If you sell beekeeping equipment or represent a group of beekeepers, write to us and we will prepare a quotation matched to your range.
